So this is what I wore during the LiST Group’s DG x LK Workshop.

Denim Vest from Mom’s Closest(I had its sleeves cut since it was bitin as a jacket), Black Sweatshirt from Cambio, Grey Pants from Bossini, Shoes from Vlado, Cuff from SM Accessories

I’m such an amateur. But I definitely want to get better.

Thank you http://sapphirineblue.tumblr.com for the photo.

I know this is quite a bit late for a Mother’s day entry but I just had to! I’m definitely not the kid who often tells his mom how much he love her or does the sweetest thing for her all the time but with no doubt, I love my mom beyond what she probably see.

I honestly have no idea what to give her for Mother’s day nor do I have money to spend for her since it’s summer and I’m one of those kids who’s beyond poverty line when it’s vacation. No school means no allowance, man! But that did not stop me from doing something a bit special for Mom for this day.

All thanks to Madhouse MNL, my Mom had a sweet treat for her special day.  I gave her this Cupcake Flower Bouquet from Cupcakes and Beyond by Ylen Conde-Vispo.

Isn’t it lovely? This cute treat is perfect for Mom cause she likes unexpected surprises. And guess what? I was surprised as well with how huge it is!

Imagine how weird it was to carry the bouquet with just one hand. Haha! Being the attention seeker self that I am, it was really really funny how everybody stared at it while I was in the mall. People were like, “Sir, cake po iyan?” “Ang cute naman..” “Ang sweet mo naman po sa Mom mo.”. It was really so cool.

When my Mom arrived home, she was all giddy and so excited about it.

And of course, before she takes a bite with the lovely cupcakes from Cupcakes and Beyond I just had to have a picture with her and my gift just because I want to and I’m that sweet.

After some snapshots, we both had dinner and enjoyed the cupcakes afterwards. They were definitely as yummy as how cute they all looked!

Go check out MadhouseMNL (https://www.facebook.com/Madhousemnl) and Cupcakes and Beyond (https://www.facebook.com/CupcakesandBeyondbyYlen) at Facebook. Be sure to hit the like button! You’ll see how awesome Madhouse MNL is and how cool the cupcakes from Cupcakes and Beyond are! I’m pretty sure that you’ll see the details on how to start ordering Cupcakes and Beyond’s extensive range of desserts all suit for your taste and budget.

Do watch out as we get featured in Madhouse MNL’s website (http://madhousemnl.com) for winning the MadMom promo!

I heard that MadhouseMNL will be have a Grand Launch Party at KYSS Lounge Bar on May 23, 2012 as well. Be sure to be there to witness their biggest issue yet and enjoy the masquerade party after the launch!

Thank you so much Sir Raj Bay, Madhouse MNL and Cupcakes and Beyond! You all gave my MADmom a great Mother’s day treat!

Last May 5, 2012, I was one of those who were fortunate enough to get a slot for The LiST Group’s David Guison & Lissa Kahayon Styling, Powerdressing, Photography and Blogging Workshop. I was so thrilled when I finally confirmed my slot for it and I now know why I was. This is one of the best workshop that I have been and like what I always say when people ask me about it, it is the best part of my summer 2012 so far.

I don’t know if I can contain how good this day was for me in a single blog entry, but let me do an amateur attempt.

Here are photos during the workshop proper. Lissa Kahayon and David Guison definitely proved me how they aren’t good in blogging and styling alone but they are good speakers as well. Every word that came from their mouth were really inspiring and taught a lot with no doubt.

I appreciate how creative the slides they prepared were. I am so gonna try doing presentations in my classes look as cool as that.

During the break, J.Co Donuts provided our snacks. Their products were as healthy as how yummy they were. Who would have thought that green tea would taste good as a donut flavor? They sure did! I’m a fan of coffees and donuts and I must say that these are my new favorites! Look how cute their donuts look and how cool that cup of coffee was!

You have to try their Alcapone (not in the image above)! It’s their signature product made of Californian almonds and white Belgian chocolate. I gotta taste that again. Their Choco Forest Freeze also stood out for me. Such a delight!

J.CO Donuts and Coffee is an international premium donuts and coffee brand that features very unique flavors. They’re starting to expand more branches here in the Philippines and I cannot wait for everybody to try their products themselves. I warn you, it’s very addictive!

The best part of the workshop is how I met these awesome people. Hi there guys!

The last part of the workshop is the fashion blogging part where our group had to do a blog entry just like how we were taught in the workshop. I was part of the fantastic group four. I cannot believe how competitive everybody was. It felt like being in a reality TV show! I was amazed on how everyone seemed to be so professional with what they were doing.

I guess my iPod caught Eliana of http://manilastyledistrict.tumblr.com! She’s so cool and so pretty at the same time. It was her 18th birthday as well. Belated happy birthday to you!

So here is our group’s model. We had to style her and take pictures of her. And oh, say hi to Lissa Kahayon in the background! How could she be so gorgeous even when just sitting around a random street.

Spotted, Lissa Kahayon and David Guison. I wish I had a shot of how they took shots of each other. I witnessed what their do best. It was probably for their blogs. Just guessing!

These are pictures with my new friends Cheese Obcena of http://kristineobcena.blogspot.com, Benedict Begalbal of http://benshifer.500px.com and Maverick Padua aka SuperMavv.

Of course, I had to go fanboy mode and get a picture of me and my rolemodel, David Guison. I also had a chance to have a photo beside the lovely scene stealer herself, Lissa Kahayon.

Before we went home, I was lucky enough to get something aside from the pink goodie bag from Goody. I won a pair of sunglasses from Hang Ten. It’s so cool because you can adjust the settings of how dark the shades appear to be from your view. Definitely a must have! Too bad I cannot show how they actually work because of my iPod’s lame camera.

I refuse to spoil more of what I learned from the workshop for those who will be joining the 3rd batch soon. I do recommend you guys to join if there will be any because it’s super fun and you’ll know more about blogging, styling and photography. It’s also great to know people who have the same interests as you do!

Congratulations to The LiST GROUP for the very successful event. Cheers to David Guison (www.davidguison.com) and Lissa Kahayon (www.lissakahayon.com). I hope you continue to inspire a lot of people like me.

When I was in High School, I always have seen myself doing designs, being in events and etc. Perhaps this is the reason why during my college admission examination season, I have already made my mind that I wanted to be in a course where I can utilize these and be someone doing what he wanted and have the passion for it as well. So yeah, I chose Advertising Arts and Communication Arts as my courses in those universities. And thankfully, I ended up being a Communication Arts student of University of the Philippines, Los Banos.

I’m pretty happy with how I am with my life right now as I’m able to do things that I actually see myself doing soon in the future. To cut the story short, I get to do designing projects and all those shiz for different stuff and all that. And I’m loving it.

This particular design is for my friend’s debut. When she asked me if I can do the invitation design, I said yes with no hesitation. And so I ended up doing the design above (but it was edited in the final design before printing because of the grammatically incorrect details and all the wrong information because of reasons) . I know it is not as good as it can be but I know that I’m learning in the process. It just feels good to be able to somehow be a part of a special day for a friend. It’s really an honor.

I want to learn more and experience bigger things as I grow. I just know that this is something I want and I hope it really is something that I can be better at in the future.

This is me and my dream to venture in such field. I believe everyone is on their own way to being their greater future self. So, how is your adventure so far? Stay Awesome.
